IHI’s 27th Annual National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care is taking place in less than one week — and we couldn’t be more excited to see many of you! Hundreds of students, residents, and university faculty will come together next week in Orlando, Florida, for a week filled with workshops, networking, and celebration. We’re taking a brief hiatus from our newsletter, returning with a new issue on December 16. If you’re attending the Forum, we hope you’ll join us at the special sessions for students. Can’t make it this year? Join Forum discussions on Twitter by following @IHIOpenSchool and the hashtag #27Forum.

In a Q&A on the Open School blog, he explains why students can help accelerate improvement.
