For Your QI Toolbox: Force Field and Pareto AnalysesPareto_Analysis

Bob Lloyd, Director of Performance Improvement at IHI, has two powerful tools to help your team catalyze improvement. Force Field Analysis can help you identify the boons and barriers to your improvement work and come up with strategies to move forward. With Pareto Analysis, you can learn to distinguish the “vital few” from the “trivial many” to get the most bang for your buck. Learn to use both these tools in your quality improvement work with new videos, in our final installment of Whiteboard Month.

Learn more about resource stewardship in health care in QCV 100: An Introduction to Quality, Cost, and Value in Health Care.
