Curious about the status of quality improvement training for residents and fellows? An ACGME webinar will examine 2016 data from the Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) program. As part of the discussion, Dr. Don Goldmann, IHI Chief Medical and Scientific Officer, will share the IHI perspective on how the CLER findings may be used to improve graduate medical education training. The webinar takes place on Tuesday, January 24, from 10 AM to 11 AM CT. Learn more in the IHI Open School's GME faculty training courses.

Wondering what will happen to your health insurance (or your patients’) if the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is repealed without a replacement? Dr. Don Berwick, IHI President Emeritus and Senior Fellow, put together a primer on how five main types of insurance will be affected if Republicans repeal but don’t replace the ACA. “Repeal will harm almost every category of insured population in this nation,” Berwick concludes, calling it “not responsible.” You can also hear Berwick’s thoughts on negotiating drug prices in this interview on WBUR (Spoiler alert: He agreed with President-Elect Donald Trump).
