April 16, 2016, is National Healthcare Decisions Day - designed to inspire, educate, and empower the public to talk with loved ones sooner rather than later about wishes for end-of-life care (before a medical crisis happens). 

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is celebrating a few days early on April 13, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, EST, by hosting the free educational webinar NHDD: Bringing the Conversation to Your Community. Join Nathan Kottkamp, NHDD Founder and Chair, Rev. Rosemary Lloyd, The Conversation Project's Advisor to the Faith-Based Community, Rev. Scott Johnson, Chaplain at St. Charles Health System, and Dr. Ira Byock, Founder and Chief Medical Officer at the Providence Institute of Human Caring. They'll be sharing more about how you can promote NHDD and conversations about end-of-life care in your community.
